Beyoncé Lands Cover Of TIME's "100 Most Influential People of 2014"

Beyoncé appears on the cover of the newest issue of TIME magazine.

Beyoncé was definitely the center of attention when she released her surprise self-titled album last December. She also seemingly inspired other artists to release music in a similar way, which may be part of the reason she was tapped for TIME's "100 Most Influential People Of 2014" list.
On top of being recognized among fellow influencers like Serena Williams and Barack Obama, Yoncé also scored the cover of the mag.
The write-up on the singer cites her album release strategy as evidence of impact, saying, “In December, she took the world by surprise when she released a new album, complete with videos, and announced it on Facebook and Instagram. Beyoncé shattered music-industry rules — and sales records.”
Other musicians who made the cut include Pharrell Williams and Miley Cyrus
