Singer Esther from defunct group Resonance releases promo photos

Remember Esther, one part of the now defunct duo, Resonance? She was the sonorous voice that belted out the chorus in the Chinweike track that reverberated all over Nigerian airwaves.

The gospel album Chinweike which featured several hits including LeeLee and Holy Ghost fire sold over a million copies in Nigeria.

After a much deserved sabbatical, the Nigeria/German alternative pop singer is back, better and ready to take her place in the Nigerian music scene as Estar with a soon to be released first single titled "Ije Love" from her forthcoming album.

Estar started singing at the age of 3. At age of eleven, she learnt how to play the guitar, composing her own songs as she went. At fourteen, she represented Nigeria in New York as a singer at the United Nations Children's Congress and at 17 she was a member of the Igbo choir in her community.

Estar has a first class honours degree in psychology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Apart from music, she loves the great outdoors. A philanthropist in her own right, she has her hands in a few charities; working with handicapped children.

She currently lives with her husband and son
