INEC Declares Anambra State Governorship Election Inconclusive

The commission declared the election inconclusive due to the significant number of votes it voided during counting. It said the total number of votes cancelled is much more than the difference between the candidate with the highest number of votes and the runner up.
The results declared by the commission showed that Chief Willie Obiano of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) polled 174, 710; Comrade Tony Nwoye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) polled 94, 354, while Senator Chris Ngige of the All Progressive Congress (APC) polled 92, 300 votes. The APC, PDP, and Labour Party candidates had in a joint statement on Sunday called for the cancellation of the election citing irregularities.
The Chairman of the commission, Professor Attahiru Jega, had also in an interview with a local television station admitted that the election was flawed, especially in Idemili North local government, where he said the electoral officer connived with outside interests to sabotage and subvert the electoral process.

'I heard of plot not to pass to me' - Eto’o claims Cameroon conspiracy
The striker alleges that others do not want him to score on international level, though his coach branded it "kindergarten talk"
Chelsea striker Samuel Eto'o believes that some of his Cameroon team-mates actively tried to avoid helping him score in their World Cup play-off against Tunisia.Ahead of the second leg of their tie on Sunday, with October's first ending 0-0, the 32-year-old claims that he had known in advance of the attempt to undermine and had to do more work himself to drop deep and get the ball.
"It's true and regrettable," Eto'o told the press, "and when you watched me retreating to the midfield to chase the ball, it's because I heard of the plot.
"Football is a collective sport. You are obliged to pass the ball even to your worst enemy, especially when he is in a good position to receive it.
"It is time to put all these issues behind us and concentrate on Sunday's match. We need to unite, chat during the game and do our best to obtain the result that the entire nation is expecting from us and, since our coach is right here, I want him to help stop the act of not passing the ball to a player on the field."
However, boss Volker Finke argued immediately against Eto'o's claims, insisting that he never noticed such a situation during the draw.
"I didn't see anything of such a nature during that match," the German declared. "Each of you can go and watch the video once more. I have watched it over again for about six to seven times. I never noticed any time when a player refused to pass the ball to Eto'o or any other player.
"There could be some issues between the players but nobody refused to kick the ball to Eto'o during that encounter. To me it sounds much like a kindergarten talk."
Tupac Biopic Slated To Begin Filming In Spring 2014
Producers of Tupac's upcoming biopic revealed that they will begin shooting in 2014.
It appears that the long-awaited Tupac biopic will officially start filming soon. Producers/financiers Morgan Creek and Emmett/Furla/Oasis Films announced plans to begin work on the film for this Spring.
The two companies held a reception for friends and supporters of Tupac at the Zanzibar in Santa Monica last Thursday where producer Randall Emmett confirmed the 2014 shoot is a go.
The film has been on hold since 2011, when Morgan Creek and Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, engaged in a legal battle over the biopic. The company sued Tupac’s mother, claiming she had signed over the rights to Tupac’s music and story, and then tried to continue negotiating for creative control of the project, billboard.com says. The situation was settled out of court and Shakur is now an executive producer of the forthcoming project.
No other actors or actresses have been announced for the film.
